General Information Only
Information on seniorslivingindependently.com (the “Website”) is provided by Paul Benevich through his California sole proprietorship under the business name South Bay Seniors Living Independently, doing business as (“DBA”) Seniors Living Independently. Content is intended for general educational and informational purposes about aging at home, companionship, family support, home safety, and non-medical senior concierge services. It is not individualized professional advice.
We aim to provide helpful information but do not guarantee that every article, example, or resource is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for every household.
Non-Medical Scope of Services
Our services may include companionship, check-ins, routine and organizational assistance, coordination of appointments and outside service providers, technology assistance, observations of everyday living conditions, and updates to family members as agreed. Specific services depend on a separate agreement.
We do not provide medical care, diagnosis, nursing, wound care, clinical assessments, medication administration or management, physical therapy, emergency monitoring, or licensed home-health services. We do not replace a physician, nurse, licensed caregiver, therapist, attorney, financial professional, or emergency responder.
We may communicate observed concerns to the client or authorized family contact and, at their direction, help coordinate contact with qualified providers. We do not independently determine medical needs or make healthcare decisions for another person.
No Client or Professional Relationship From Website Use
Reading the Website, sending an email, submitting an inquiry, or having an introductory conversation does not establish a client relationship, healthcare-provider relationship, or duty to monitor someone’s health or safety. Services begin only when both parties separately agree to an arrangement and any applicable service agreement is completed.
Not for Emergencies
The Website, inquiry form, email, and telephone contact are not emergency response or continuously monitored services. For an immediate medical or safety emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. For urgent health concerns, contact a qualified healthcare provider. For a mental-health crisis in the United States, call or text 988.
Individual Needs and Results
Each older adult, family, home, and support situation is different. Examples and suggestions are illustrative and do not guarantee continued independent living, specific safety outcomes, avoidance of injury, or a particular level of service. Individuals and families remain responsible for decisions and should seek qualified assessments when appropriate.
Home Safety and Outside Resources
Articles about fall prevention, accessibility, home modifications, mobility, or daily routines are general education, not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified clinician, occupational therapist, licensed contractor, or other appropriate professional. Verify licensing, insurance, qualifications, costs, and suitability before hiring outside providers. External links are informational and do not necessarily imply endorsement.
Sensitive Information and Inquiries
The Website contact form is for general inquiries only. Do not send medical records, diagnoses, detailed health histories, medication lists, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other highly sensitive information. If further details are needed, we can discuss a more appropriate way to communicate.
