Agreement and Website Purpose
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern use of seniorslivingindependently.com (the “Website”), operated by Paul Benevich as a California sole proprietor under the business name South Bay Seniors Living Independently, doing business as (“DBA”) Seniors Living Independently (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
The Website provides general information about non-medical senior concierge support, aging at home, caregiving, practical home considerations, and related resources. It currently accepts general inquiries; it does not process online service purchases or bookings.
No Professional or Client Relationship
Use of the Website, including submitting an inquiry, does not establish a client relationship or any healthcare, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Any services require separate mutual agreement and any applicable service terms. Website content is not individualized medical, nursing, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Non-Medical Services
We provide non-medical companionship, practical assistance, coordination, and family communication as separately agreed. We do not diagnose or treat conditions, administer or manage medication, perform nursing or clinical procedures, provide licensed home-health care, or make medical decisions for clients. Consult qualified professionals for clinical, legal, financial, and other specialized advice.
Emergencies
The Website and contact channels are not emergency or continuously monitored services. Do not use them for urgent medical, mental-health, or safety needs. Call 911 for emergencies, or 988 in the United States for mental-health crises.
Permitted Use
You may use the Website for lawful personal and informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Interfere with the Website’s operation, security, or availability;
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or information;
- Submit spam, malicious code, fraudulent material, or impersonations;
- Use automated scraping or excessive requests that burden the Website;
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.
Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website’s original articles, copy, graphics, photographs, logo, and design are owned by or licensed to us and may be protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial information use. Other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires permission except as allowed by law.
Inquiry Forms and Communications
Provide only information you are authorized to share and believe is accurate. Do not submit confidential medical records, diagnoses, detailed health histories, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other sensitive data through the Website.
Submitting a form or receiving a response does not obligate either party to enter into a service relationship. We use inquiries to respond to requests, not for unrelated marketing. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Website use or reliance on its content. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Responsibility for Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims or losses resulting from your unlawful misuse of the Website, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by California law, except where other applicable law controls. Disputes are subject to courts with lawful jurisdiction and any rights that cannot legally be waived.
